Google labs has recently launched the Listen project.It's a project devised to bring your favorite pod casts in you android powered phone.
There is a subscription tag provided in this application,by which one can subscribe to his/her favorite pod casts.
The Listen is also provided with a search bar for searching pod casts.
An interesting feature is the search queue,by which one can choose and index the specific episodes to hear.
Disadvantages are two,at this moment Listen is available only for English pod casts . Second this is available only for android powered phones.
Great innovation.I am a great fan of pod casts. waiting really for the time when this project comes out of the Google labs.
Perhaps this project is a signal from Google, for the arrival of the long awaited Google Wave.
I am sure when this project comes out of the Google Labs,it will definitely index non-English pod casts and will be available for non android powered phones.
Google has published a note of caution for the usage of Listen,as it is a part of google labs , and has not yet been released publicly by google.[And not yet fully bug fixed]
