After buying the large screen LCD monitor for my desktop,i was looking for some software two split the desktop screen so as to make good use of the large screen.Actually splitting the desktop/monitor screen comes in very handy to me,as i am very fond of reading PDF books, and simultaneously taking notes in word document.
Two softwares i found over the web that can split the desktop screen are Winsplit Revolution. It is a freeware, that can be downloaded for free, and after launching the software an icon appears in the system tray, from which the orientation.number of the multiple screens can be controlled.
After running the software, when you restart the computer,a small small virtual keyboard appears in your desktop screen,by which you can easily control the position and number of the screens. You can also operate by making use of the hot keys.
2.The other software that splits the desktop screen into multiple parts is the Acer Gridvista .This option is also very good, but my personal favorite is the Winsplit.
